SENTIENT at Housing Work's Design on a Dime: Brooklyn Outpost
SENTIENT worked with CAV Design and also House of Julien to provide pieces for this year's Design on a Dime: Brooklyn Outpost, a charitable event by Housing Works, hosted by Industry City. Housing Works benefits AIDS research and our brand was honored to be asked by these designers to be a part of the event.
The Industry City event space is a great indoor/outdoor location for hosting this type of gathering: it has to have lots of real estate for mingling but also for setting up designers vignettes showing off their decorating abilities: there was also a poetry reading and beer generously provided by Greenport Brewing.
CAV Design showcased one of our Signature Live Edge Tables in cherry, and seeing one of our tables in this beachy, Hamptons vibe was definitely a fresh look for us! The light atmosphere is both sophisticated, yet casually inviting.
Julien did something completely different—it was so great to see our work in such contrasting environments! His space was both futuristic, yet a throwback to disco glam: using our Sapience Chairs along with his own digitally-printed fabrics and a subtle detail of adding gloss panels to the sides of the chairs. An awesome custom neon light and sharp vintage pieces complete this psychedelic lounge.
Thanks again to Housing works and both Jennifer and Julien for thinking of using us for this event that goes to a great cause.
